1. Service Description
ProductiveKitty is a macOS desktop application that monitors your screen activity (app switching, tab status, etc.) to help you identify distraction behavior and gently remind you to return to your current task. The product is currently in beta.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.
- Users under 18 must have guardian consent.
- You must ensure that your registration information is true, accurate, and complete.
3. Usage License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license, solely for personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, or crack the application
- Transfer, resell, or distribute the license to others
- Bypass or undermine any security or access control mechanisms
- Use automated tools to scrape or manipulate app data in bulk
- Use the application for any illegal or harmful purpose
4. Account and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and are liable for all actions taken under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.
5. Beta and Early Access
ProductiveKitty is currently in beta. Beta versions may contain features that have not been fully tested. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or terminate beta features at any time without notice.
6. Intellectual Property
ProductiveKitty's code, design, brand, and all related content are owned by the ProductiveKitty team. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Task information and personal settings you create within the application belong to you. You authorize us to process such content only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer
ProductiveKitty is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from use or inability to use the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProductiveKitty's liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the past 12 months, or USD 15, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You may delete your account and discontinue use of the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in reasonable circumstances, including violations of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. In the event of a dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve it through good faith negotiation; if negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court for resolution.
